We reminisce about our youth, playing, latch key, etc. Now we are grown and are running corporations and government. The government is 2024 (😒). There are no fun parks - no jungle gyms, no merry-go-rounds... We were too Crunk in the 90's, then we allowed the loss of so many "freedoms" (having too much fun to vote) that kids will never experience what we had because they can't. So much is illegal, politically incorrect. If we were an experiment, what was produced? 2024: fake news, fake food, bad water, stuff in the air, "climate" "change"... we are strong, but if I'd realized we would be "the elders in charge" today as we sang 'We are the world' and 'the greatest love', playtime would have been Hella different. Where is all our feral strength now? How much happier are we than our parents, grandparents? How happy are our kids and grandkids? We're in charge. Whatever is happening is our fault.

I've found out I'm a cusp-hybrid generation Xennial 1977-1983 Basically we grew up feral like Gen X but experienced the beginning of the tech boom of the Millenials 😂 And definitely experienced the pains associated with dial up internet and Map Quest! 🥴

GenX is the only generation to have two distinct sb-generations. Early (1964-74) and late (1975-82). The early were all general f-ups and losers, will bang on about racism and equality and some other such Boomer nonsense, whilst laters saw right through the lies and hypocrisy and are well adjusted grownups with based GenZ/Alpha children.

i liked mapquest i would look at the directions and if i had to go on a long trip i would figure out how to get to the interstate and then what exit to get off and then i would use the directions from the exit.
